Catania airport (150 Km from Milazzo) is connected to Milazzo by an afternoon daily bus (GIUNTABUS); to Messina  by bus (SAIS).  Messina is connected to Milazzo by coaches bus (GIUNTABUS). It is possible to reach  Lipari by hydrofoils (SNAV and SIREMAR) and ferries (NGI and SIREMAR) from Milazzo, by hydrofoils (SNAV) from Messina .

Reggio Calabria airport is connected to Reggio Calabria harbour by a bus;  from here it is possible to reach Lipari by hydrofoils (SNAV).
Reggio Calabria airport is connected to Messina by coaches bus (CAVALIERI). From Messina it is possible to reach  Lipari by hydrofoils (SNAV).
